Are they secure?
Certainly. And for women with fine hair we make lovely styles on bands that sit securely and comfortably on your head.

I have a small head - can you make something to suit me?
We'll take every care to ensure that the accessory you order will suit you. When you meet Bronwen to discuss your requirements, the fun of trying on samples is part of the process and will give you a clear idea of what will work for you. You'll also discuss the fine details: your colours, the size and length of feathers, the colour of beads or the fabrics for flowers.

Are your pieces heavy?
Not at all - in fact most are light as a feather which is hardly surprising since lots of them are based on feathers!

I can't get to Bristol. How can I choose the materials?
No problem - we can speak on the phone and you can send me swatches of fabrics to match if you like. In return I can send you drawings or samples before going ahead.

Can you send pieces through the post?
Yes - we send items recorded delivery and charge £5.00 for packaging and posting items to any UK address. Please call or email us for international postage rates.

What happens if I need a bespoke item really quickly?
It depends how quickly of course - but we'll always do our best to help. We schedule our workload to ensure customers' pieces are made to meet the dates when they're required. So rush jobs are usually possible, but there will be a small premium.

Can couples have matching or co-coordinating accessories?
We regularly create companion pieces, though as some men are uncomfortable with unusual accessories we're often asked for a smaller item in the same colours and fabrics.

Are children's pieces available?
Of course! We're planning a new section to show off our fairy headdresses, animal masks and floral accessories for flower girls and bridesmaids. Take a look at the children's section in Our products (link) to see some examples.

Are there accessories for men?
There's already a range of elegant buttonholes and we're developing a range of pins for wedding cravats. Please see Our products (link) for more information.

If I order more than one item, is there a discount?
Yes, of 10% if you order three items or more.

Do I pay a deposit?
Yes please - 50% of the agreed cost with the balance payable either on collection of the finished item or before we post your piece.

If I cancel my order do I get my deposit back?
Technically, deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit represents an instruction to us to start work, so as soon as we receive it we'll do just that, even if it's just by thinking about how to make your piece or doing initial drawings. However, if you cancel early enough we will probably be able to return some money, depending on the stage we're at. In the same vein, once we have started making your item we also reserve the right to make a small additional charge for our time and for special materials ordered on your behalf. If you change your mind once your piece is completed, please see the next question.

What is your returns policy if I need to send something back?
Provided it's received back by us in perfect condition within 10 days of receipt at your own cost, we'll refund 50% of the price paid for each returned piece up to a maximum of £50 per item. For bespoke pieces we can't promise a refund but will try our best to sell the piece and if we do, will refund you 50% of the price we achieve.

Can I buy a presentation box as I'm making a gift?
You don't need to because every piece comes beautifully presented its own box.
